Contract embroidery built for resellers and hat programs.
Most contract embroiderers run four to eight heads, which is why your 500-cap program keeps missing its in-hands date. We run 25 heads under one roof in Deerfield Beach, FL — 36,000+ units a year across caps, polos, jackets, beanies, and bucket hats, with in-house digitizing, sew-out photo approvals, and blind shipping standard. 24-piece minimum, clear contract rates.
Embroidery pricing: by stitch count, no surprises.
One number decides your price: stitch count. Up to 7,000 stitches is the base rate at your quantity tier; each additional 1,000 stitches adds a small flat amount per piece. Thread colors are free.
How embroidery pricing works
- Quantity sets your tier — per-piece rates step down from 24 pieces through 500+, custom quotes at 1,000+
- Stitch count sets the rate — a base rate covers up to 7,000 stitches; each additional 1,000 adds a small flat amount
- Thread colors are always free — a 9-color logo costs the same as 1-color at equal stitches
- Flat add-ons, all listed on the card — caps, side and back locations, beanies, buckets, 3D puff, one-time digitizing kept on file
The full 2026 embroidery tiers

How many stitches is your logo?
The most common question in embroidery, so here’s the guide most shops keep to themselves. These are typical digitized ranges — your exact count comes with the proof, before you owe anything.
| Design type | Typical stitch range | Cost at 100 pcs |
|---|---|---|
| Small text or monogram | 2,000–5,000 | Base tier |
| Left-chest logo | 4,000–9,000 | Base tier + add’l stitches |
| Cap front logo | 5,000–12,000 | Base tier + add’l stitches |
| Large jacket-back design | 20,000–50,000+ | Custom quote |
Ranges reflect real digitized files, not marketing math — fill density, lettering size, and detail drive the count. We tell you the exact stitch count with your digitized proof, before anything sews. Example from the ranges above: a 9,000-stitch left-chest prices as the base tier plus two additional-thousand increments — the rate card shows the exact figure at your quantity.
Headwear is the specialty.
Hats are the hardest thing to embroider well at volume — curved surfaces, seams, structured fronts — and the biggest share of our 25-head floor. If your business sells caps, this is the production partner question that matters most.
Structured caps
Front, side, and back locations. 3D puff on request for foam-raised logos that read from across a room.
Beanies & bucket hats
Cuffed beanies and bucket crowns need different hooping and framing — we run both daily on dedicated frames.
Polos, jackets & outerwear
Left chest, sleeve, and yoke placements on knits, softshells, and heavyweight outerwear, with backing matched to the fabric.
Why programs land here and stay.
Heads under one roof
A 500-cap program runs in parallel passes, not week-long queues.
Units per year
Production embroidery is a core service here, not a sideline next to the presses.
Piece minimum
Program reorders and topper runs welcome; sweet spot starts at 50.
Setup on reorders
Your digitized file stays on ours. Reorders sew identical, with no new fees.
From artwork to blind-shipped cartons.
Send art and garment specs
Vector art preferred, but any clean file works — we digitize in-house. Tell us the garment, placement, and quantity. Have an existing DST file from another shop? We run it as-is or fix it if it sews poorly.
Approve the digitized proof and sew-out
You get the stitch count, thread colors, and a sew-out photo on request — an actual stitched sample photographed, not a simulation. The price is locked to that stitch count before production starts.
We run it on 25 heads
Standard turnaround 7–10 business days from approval. Rush tiers to same-day when the floor has capacity, at the documented upcharges on the pricing page.
Blind ship anywhere
Plain boxes, your label, drop ship or bulk. Thread colors, placement, and the digitized file stay on record so the next run matches this one.
Embroidery questions, answered straight.
Do thread colors affect the price?
No. Embroidery is priced by stitch count, not colors — a 6-color logo costs the same as a 1-color logo at the same count. Excessive color changes mid-design can affect pricing on complex files; we flag that at quote, never after.
Can you use my existing DST file?
Yes. Send the DST (or EMB, PES) and we run it as-is — no digitizing fee. If it sews poorly — thin coverage, bad pathing, puckering — we’ll show you the issue on a sew-out and quote a re-digitize before touching your garments.
What’s a sew-out and why should I care?
A sew-out is your design actually stitched on fabric and photographed before the run starts. A digitized file that looks fine on screen can pucker, gap, or lose small text on thread. The sew-out catches that on one test piece instead of on 300 of your customer’s polos.
How many stitches is my logo?
Rough guide: small text 2,000–5,000; left chest 4,000–9,000; cap front 5,000–12,000; jacket backs 20,000+. The honest answer comes from digitizing — which is why we quote the exact count with your proof, before you commit.
Do you do 3D puff embroidery?
Yes — foam-raised puff on caps is one of our signature products, priced by stitch count and density. Bold, chunky shapes puff best; fine detail doesn’t. We’ll tell you if your art needs adapting.
Caps and shirts in one order?
Yes, and mixed orders are normal — caps on cap frames, flats on flat frames, running simultaneously on different heads. One PO, one blind shipment. Screen printed tees can join the same order from the press side of the building.
Where do I see full pricing?
The full rate card — embroidery tiers, add-ons, and rush upcharges — is on our pricing page — request it and it's emailed the same business day.
