How the ST350 behaves under ink
The part most contract shops leave out of the quote.
Highest dye-migration risk we print
100% polyester dye turns to gas at curing temperature and can ghost into the print days later, worst on reds, royals and maroons. We run a low-bleed poly underbase and cure as cool as the ink allows, on every single ST350 job. Ask any other shop whether they do.
PosiCharge is not a print shield
PosiCharge locks the garment color against fading in the wash, it does nothing to stop dye migration into ink. A shop that treats it as protection will hand you shirts that discolor in two weeks. We treat every ST350 as the high-risk substrate it is.
Interlock knit holds detail
The interlock face is denser and smoother than a standard jersey, so logos, numbers and fine text print cleaner than you would expect from a shirt this light.
ST350 questions from resellers
What is the minimum order on ST350 shirts?
24 pieces, with no setup fees. You can mix colors and sizes inside that 24 as long as the printed design is the same.
Is this the same as a Nike Dri-FIT?
Dri-FIT is Nike's brand name, the ST350 is Sport-Tek's equivalent moisture-wicking performance tee, at a fraction of the price and made for printing. It is what most of our team and league customers mean when they ask for dri-fits.
Can you screen print on 100% polyester without the colors bleeding?
Yes, if it is done right. Polyester dye migrates into ink at curing temperature, so we run a low-bleed underbase and a controlled cure on every ST350 job. That is the difference between a print that stays bright and one that turns pink on a red shirt two weeks after delivery.
Do you print team numbers and names?
Tell us what the roster needs in the form and we will quote it, individual names and numbers are priced per piece on top of the base print.
Is there a long-sleeve or women's version?
Yes. The ST350L long sleeve runs in the same colors, we printed over 4,000 of them last year, and there is a women's cut (LST350) and youth sizes. We can mix them in one order under one print setup.
Will the color fade in the wash?
That is what PosiCharge is for, it locks the garment dye so team colors stay bright wash after wash. Wash cold, skip the fabric softener, tumble dry low.
Do I ship blanks in, or do you source them?
Either one. We are a SanMar PSST decorator, so you can order on your own account and have blanks ship freight-free with no minimum to our dock. If you would rather not carry the blanks, we source and bill them through.
Will the order ship blind under my label?
Yes. Your packing slip, your label, nothing of ours in the box. We can drop ship to your client or straight to their end customer.
