The part most contract shops leave out of the quote.
Small logos win here
An unstructured front will not hold a giant dense logo flat. Dad hats look their best with small-to-medium embroidery, a left-of-center mark or a tight center logo. We size it right.
The price-point play
This is the lowest-cost blank in our headwear lineup, so it is the pick for giveaways, staff hats and event merch where quantity matters more than a premium blank.
Soft crown, soft look
The bio-wash gives every color a slightly faded, lived-in tone. Tone-on-tone embroidery (navy on navy, olive on olive) looks especially sharp on this cap.
VC300A questions from resellers
What is the minimum order for custom dad hats?
24 pieces, and you can mix colors within the order as long as the artwork stays the same.
Why is this hat cheaper than the others?
It is Valucap’s value line, a simpler unstructured build in a bio-washed cotton. It still embroiders clean; you are saving on the blank, not the decoration.
How long does an order take?
Typically 7-10 business days after art approval. Tell us your date and we confirm same day.
Can you do big front logos on a dad hat?
We can, but we usually talk you out of it, unstructured fronts pucker under big dense embroidery. A smaller mark, or a structured cap like the Otto 31-069, gets a better result.
Do I need finished artwork?
No, send whatever you have and digitizing is included.
Do I ship blanks in, or do you source them?
Either one. We are a SanMar PSST decorator, so you can order on your own account and have blanks ship freight-free with no minimum to our dock. If you would rather not carry the blanks, we source and bill them through.
Will the order ship blind under my label?
Yes. Your packing slip, your label, nothing of ours in the box. We can drop ship to your client or straight to their end customer.
